How Many Bigfoot Movies Can There Possibly Be?? I Scoured the Wilderness of the Internet To Compile This Sasquatchian List For You-Over 2 Hours Worth of Bigfoot Trailers Included!- Fitz of Horror

Written by Bryan Fitzgerald (Fitz of Horror) May 24, 2018

I remember seeing Harry and the Hendersons and the made for TV Fuzzbucket as a kid and believing in the idea of Bigfoot and the possibility that there could have been a lovable gentle giant somewhere in the woods when we were camping. After seeing some older Sasquatch flicks like Legend of Boggy Creek and Shriek of the Mutilated, I realized that Bigfoot wasn’t anything I wanted in the woods or anywhere else around me.

From what I can see, Bigfoot movies began to surge in the 70s and 80s and fell off the map completely in the 90s and from 2000 to present there have been dozens of Bigfoot movies made (mostly really bad) and everyone seems to have a unique take on the mythology and look of our favorite Cryptid forest dwelling creature.

Doing the research for this article I was blown away by how many Bigfoot movies have been made. Looking up one movie led to other movies and I soon realized that this list could have easily been over 100 Bigfoot films and don’t even get me started on the (sub) sub genre of erotic Bigfoot movies!

One thing that I have learned is that Bigfoot definitely hasn’t gotten the cinematic respect he deserves, with the exception of very few movies, the Sasquatch horror sub genre is a very dark and cheesy place.

So sit back, relax and get lost in this massive list of Bigfoot movies complete with well over two hours worth of “so bad they’re good” trailers and ridiculous posters…

Primal Rage (2018)-

A newly reunited young couple’s drive through the Pacific Northwest turns into a nightmare as they are forced to face nature, unsavory locals, and a monstrous creature, known to the Native Americans as Oh-Mah.

A scientist by the name of Sarah Evans (Leilani Sarelle) shows up to help the town’s sheriff (Reb Brown) and his deputy girlfriend Roberta (Sherrie Rose) hunt this thing down and put an end to the killings. At the same time, Hunter Crawford (David Campbell) is a thug-like character who along with his two henchmen, is hunting the creature himself, for his own personal gain and he does not care who he has to go through to accomplish this. Enter Charlie Parker (Ted Prior) a tough east coast type who is on a survivalist camping trip, led by the seasoned survivalist Sharon Farmer (Tara Sanford Kleinpeter) at the behest of his young trophy wife (Alissa Koenig) and whom, by no fault of his own, winds up being used as bait for the creature, by Hunter. BIGFOOT (2006)-

Jack Sullivan has been discharged from the military after a lengthy court marshal for striking a superior officer. Along with his 9-year-old daughter Charlie, the two move back to Jack’s childhood home of “Mentor Headlands”, a small town located in Northeastern Ohio’s marshlands. As familiar as the Headlands are to Jack, he is struck by all the new development and the loss of woods and marsh he used to play in as a child. Shortly after arriving to the house he inherited after his father passed away, Jack is reunited with his old friend Bob Perkins, who is now the Sheriff. Bob is in the midst of trying to figure out what has been killing and mutilating the local animal population. Several deer over the last week have turned up ripped to shreds and with the help of Park Ranger Sandy Parker; the two have concluded that a bear must have wandered into the area. This theory makes sense to Jack until he sees something standing in the fog – a Bigfoot. Naturally, everyone thinks Jack is out of his mind. But, when some of the local residents meet the same fate as the deer, suspicions start to arise. This is not a story about the cuddly, misunderstood giant living in the Pacific Northwest. It’s the story of a clever, murderous monster living in the marshes and woods of Northeastern Ohio. This Bigfoot is a victim of deforestation and urban sprawl and he is fighting back.
