Dwellers – Ellefson Films ‘Dwellers’ Poster Release, Teaser Info and Discussion – A Fitz of Horror Exclusive!
Synopsis –While shooting a documentary on the suspicious disappearances within the homeless community, a filmmaker and his crew go missing while uncovering a terrifying and vicious secret below the city’s surface.
Fitz of Horror got a chance to speak briefly with Drew Fortier about his upcoming film, which is currently in production. Little did we know, they’d throw us exclusive, seen-here-first content! Check out Ellefson Films’ poster for the found footage horror ‘Dwellers’.
We were also informed that the teaser should be released today or tomorrow, exclusively through Mitch Lafon (Podcaster; ‘Rock Talk’), so keep your eyes peeled. In addition, Fortier told us a little bit about the inspiration for the film. He confesses that Dwellers is a send-up to one of his favorite films, C.H.U.D., and even Shep Abott, C.H.U.D.’s writer, has given Fortier his blessing.
“I think it’s gonna have something for everybody,” says Fortier about what Dwellers will offer the horror film community. “I think horror fans and movie fans in general will find something they enjoy about it. Also, this is probably going to be the closest thing to a C.H.U.D. remake until one actually happens. This is truly a movie that I’ve always wanted to see and I can’t wait until it’s released. The whole meta-aspect of it is really fun too with a lot of us playing ourselves. I hope it playfully confuses people.”
Here’s the trailer:
