A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, Child’s Play follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.
Orion Pictures presents a KatzSmith production, ‘Child’s Play’, which is in theaters nationwide on June 21st of this year and stars Aubrey Plaza (Safety Not Guaranteed, Dirty Grandpa and NBC’s Parks & Rec), Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out, CBS’ Stalker & American Gothic), and Brian Tyree Henry (Spider-Man, Into the Spider-Verse, Hotel Artemis & Widows). As you might’ve heard, Mark Hamill is the voice of the pint-sized killer doll.
Child’s Play is directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid) from a screenplay by Tyler Burton Smith and produced by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions (It, It: Chapter Two).
