Dallas filmaker Mitch McLeod releases a haunting trailer for his upcoming film “Silhouette”- Fitz of Horror

Bryan Fitzgerald (Fitz of Horror) January 4, 2019

Synopsis-Silhouette is the story of Jack and Amanda Harms who, after the passing of their young daughter, set out into seclusion to begin their lives anew. Quickly upon their arrival, things go awry when the sins of their past come back to haunt them.

Looking as though it may have Evil Dead/Sixth Sense vibes to it Mitch McLeod‘s Silhouette appears to have the makings of a really scary film and he has accomplished this with only a $25,000 budget.

Tugging on the heartstrings of all parents by adding the death of a child and then possibly bringing this child back as a vengeful spirit, the parents Jack (Tom Zembrod) and Amanda (April Hartman) Harms look to have great on-screen chemistry so when their seclusion crumbles into madness and fear, the characters start to fall apart, we will feel it too. From what little I saw of the rest of the cast in this trailer, it looks like this will be a very solidly acted movie.

I love the score that the trailer showcases and the look of the film is very professional and polished. I am 100% all in on this one and can’t wait for its release later this year. Within the next month it will be hitting festival circuits so hopefully, I will have a full review for you soon!
