Their Kickstarter goal is $108,240 and they are currently at $104,000+, so the Hex team and Lawrie Brewster are getting creative and with only 4 days to go they need you help so someone is going to willingly either make a fool of themselves or create the next worldwide viral video or both!

‘Automata’ Director Lawrie Brewster Promises Hilarious Video For Kickstarter Backers
‘Automata’, the latest horror from Hex Studios, is closing in on its ambitious £80K Kickstarter goal with just days left in the campaign.
A dark, debauched and epic tale, the story centres on a creepy 300-year-old clockwork doll, with a notorious history. With influences from Hammer to Giallo, Ken Russell, and Kubrick, this looks like it’s going to be something pretty special!
The campaign has garnered support along the way from genre heavyweights such as Andy Nyman, director of recent horror hit ‘Ghost Stories,’ and StudioADI, the Academy Award-winning creature effects company behind ‘Starship Troopers,’ ‘Tremors,’ and ‘It’.
Thanks to the incredible support of the horror community, the film is on track to be the most-funded UK narrative film ever on Kickstarter, and among the most successful horror film campaigns in the world.
But, they haven’t quite reached their goal yet! To incentivize backers in the last crucial days, director Lawrie Brewster has promised that if the campaign raises £1000 in the next 24 hours, he will release an utterly absurd and hilarious video featuring Lawrie himself performing seventies hit ‘MacArthur Park’. Judging by the images the folks at Hex have sent over, this is perhaps the weirdest Kickstarter promo ever made, and we need to see it!
So, let’s make it happen! Spread the word, check out the campaign, and pledge if you can, and let’s help bring ‘Automata’ to life!
